wow, both asparagus and mushroom risotto are a firm favourite with us - would never have thought of combining the two, but will give it a try next time! after all we have to make the most of this year's asparagus season!
No, I have to admit I would never have thought of it myself, either! But it does work well. And you're right, anything that uses lovely spring asparagus is a good thing at this time of year.
