Lovely to see you back in print again(Where is she, for heaven's sake?) Always enjoy this site very much - thank you. Am I mistaken in thinking you were going to Paris late last year...if you did, any comments?

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the message! I've been to France a few times over the last few months - had fantastic food every time. On a couple of trips to the south coast, we ate loads of brilliant fresh produce and a particularly excellent fish couscous in Cassis, and then when we stayed with Marie and Laurent in Lyon we ate so well, though in a different style: seven-hour lamb with glace turnips, quenelles, raclette, black pudding and apple tartlets.... It was all so so good. I haven't been to Paris for a while but would like to go again soon.
