I still have some Royal Sloe gin left...the last of 25 bottles although to be honest I much prefer the sloe Vodka, it has a less sickly flavour after 5 years...
Have fun making it, but personally I would use a needle or fork rather than a sloe thorn...
On a fab note, the new Sushi bar is open and the teriyaki chicken is yummmmm! You must meet me in London soon!

Yes, I must admit I used the thorn just so I could say I'd done it, and then go ahead and use something more practical in future years. It wasn't too inefficient though, those thorns are fairly substantial.

God yes, I must come up to London soon, it's just a matter of surgically detatching myself from my thesis for an afternoon.
