| Merrick's shortbread biscuits |
| 10 oz | butter |
| 4 oz | white sugar |
| 10 oz | plain flour |
| 4 oz | rice flour |
| milk |
| brown or demerara sugar |
Mix the first 4 ingredients together into a dough. Form it into flat, biscuit-sized rounds. Roll edges in milk and brown sugar.
Bake at 180C for 12 to15 minutes.
