White chocolate ice cream |
300g | castor sugar |
12 | egg yolks |
2 | vanilla pods (see note 1) |
500 ml | milk |
500 ml | cream |
250g | best quality white chocolate, grated |
Prepare the ice cream as for vanilla bean ice cream.
When it's fully churned, stir in the grated chocolate.
This makes it *very* sweet, so it's best served with blueberries, or other fruit, or something anyway.
